A Mouthful of Candy

There is a time for everything. A time to eat healthy, and a time to gorge on Easter candy. A time to avoid high-fructose corn syrup and artificial colors, and a time to throw out all the rules. A time to spend a day having a free-for-all with the candy proudly brought home from the hunt, and, later, a time to take Communion. A time to think about the Easter bunny, and a time to focus on The Cross.

Hoping your family enjoys the holiday weekend, in all of its silly excesses and its quiet, splendid glory. Happy Easter, friends.

Hi, I just started food-blogging and was wondering how you created your index of recipes.

hey sarah :). here's a food/easter question: how did the tradition of eating pork to celebrate the death of the world's most famous jew arise (heh, arise, no pun intended). that's always confused me...

hope you and yours have a fabulous easter!

Hi Sarah,

HAPPY EASTER

Katie - I made the index tediously by hand. There is probably an easier way to do it, but I don't do anything the easy way. It is a genetic fault.

Holly - I'm stumped on that one (hilarious, by the way), but vindicated nonetheless, because I do not eat ham. Consider me kosher.

Thanks for your reply, Sarah. About the index of recipes: I was wondering if you created another blog for it or just another page.

Katie, I created another blog, and use the index as the only post on it. That way, I can easily add new recipes without having to search back in the archives for the initial blog post that included the index.
